Eating healthy needn’t break the bank.

Chilli
500g mince – £3.50
Tomatoes – 50p
Kidney Beans -75p
2x Onions – 66p
2x Stock cubes – 33p
Spices – 50p

Total – £6.24
5 portion = £1.25 each

Simply brown off the mince, I like to add my spices (paprika, cayenne, chilli) now so the meat really soaks it up.
Add in the onions and fry for few more minutes.
Once onions have softened slightly, add tomatoes, kidney beans and stock cubes.
Bring to boil then leave to simmer for 1-2 hours.

I portion it into tubs and freeze. Cheap and healthy ready meals for quick easy lunches.
